Hello,

Well if he's going to cheat on you,he could live next door and he'll still do it lady...
But it kind of sounds as though you do not trust him as things are looking prior to committing yourself to share as boy/girl friends...
Try and sit him down and talk it over and see how he answers your concerns...
Having had about 10 long distance relationships in the past wasn't a problem for me but the lady's all ended up having men already and just liked that i would hop out to see them,it sucked when i found out...i was hurt but i also learned...
I have had no problem with seeing a lady i wished to know of even when she lived over 2,388 miles away...
As all i do is travel most of the time...
That is until i found out i was just another dreamer of finding true love...
And she had a man as well...
Best of luck to you though...

Thank You

I know first hand that long distance relationships don't really work out, because I was in one, and everything was fine, then one day he just stopped calling me, so I guess he's moved on, but that's ok I've got someone new. If I were you'd I just stay friends with him, because I'm sorry to say this, but eventually he'll cheat or move on and you'll end up with a broken heart (in my case a broken heart along with broken ankle and ribs and a damaged kidney I was in a car accident with a semi carrying milk on my way to see my boyfriend, and that's what broke up our relationship) There is someone out there that will catch your eye, so I wouldn't risk the chance of this relationship not working out.

Wow when you said long distance I was thinking another state..........come on 45 minutes away is nothing. Hun if you're already thinking of him cheating before the relationship really begins then maybe you have some confidence or trust issues you need to work out.

45 minutes is really not that far. But if you're afraid he'd cheat on you, he could cheat on you if he lived 10 minutes away. Distance is not the problem; it's how committed you both are to the relationship.

It's usually relationships that are hundreds of miles apart that are more difficult.

45 minutes away? that's long distance? heck, I tried to keep up a fling from here (america) to holland.

what, are you not old enough to drive yet?

45 minutes, 45 miles, 4.5 hours is not enough to keep me from seeing someone I love. Love should include trust, which no distance can break.

It really depends on your relationship and the person he is.
I'm in a long distance relationship and we've been together for almost a year.
It works for us.

Most people will probably tell you it is a bad idea though.
It is pretty difficult.

Call me naive, but I think if he truly loves or cares about you he won't cheat. That is no matter where he lives. Someone can cheat even if he lives next door. I say go for it!

45 minutes away from you, isn't all that bad, that's one decision you'll have to make, on your own. Make a wise decision, look at the whole picture.
