I did before... you shouldn't be like that. Just think, who cares what people think!!! I think you are just being shy about other surroundings. Just open up and be yourself!

I can relate. I have a lot of psychological issues, I won't get into them but I will tell you that one of my closest friends makes it impossible for me to talk to her about anything because she is very overprotective and worries very easily. I want to talk to her because we are close, but at the same time, I dont want to be coddled, I just want to vent. But she is too over-comforting, if that makes sense. I know I probably sound silly complaining that someone cares TOO much, but it makes me feel guilty that i worry her, and that she gets upset. It's like my problems become hers and I dont want her upset so I just dont talk to her about the things that I need to talk about most. I sont know if this really relates to what you're asking, but its what came to mind when I read your question.

I remember having that in school...called social anxiety. Just be yourself, laugh at yourself, and if they don't accept you, find people who will. There is so much more to life than wondering what people think. Have some fun!

No... but I don't enjoy giving my power away either.. You are allowing them to steal yours.
