no way....a lot of people don't even watch the news and have no idea what is going on in the world.
At least most voters are educated on the subjects and have solid arguments on their point of view.
Making uneducated people vote would be a disaster!

No, because if it was mandatory we would not know what people really thought. People would vote because they had to and not because they wanted to.
