you'll find some - be open (but sometimes leery) to older and younger relationships also as in a small town they may not be too close in age. be a little more aware of your surroundings and the people around you and i'm sure you'll start noticing some bi/homosexuals. often the eyes are clouded based on the belief that since it is a small christian town no one else is like you.

Dear hated,
It's such a horrible thing when you feel isolated and alone. Reflect on this. Kinsey found that one in four of the men he interviewed had had at least one same sex experience in their lives, and that was back in the forties and fifties. This doesn't make one in four men gay, but it does mean that all round you there are people who have had some experience of same-sex sex. Even if only half of them go on to explore their preferences in more depth, this would still mean that one in eight men you come into contact with has had a more than casual same sex experience.
As for building up your circle of acquaintances, try the internet, but take care!

I bet there are a lot more GLBT people than you would suspect; it's just that everyone else is affraid to be vocal about it. If there is a city close to where you live, I would go there because they most likely have a PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). If not, talk to some one you trust. I'm sure you will be able to find at least a few supportive people if you don't find any others who share your lifestyle.

The internet is a good place to find friends. I suggest that you use www.mogenic.com because it is just for teens and young adults. You can use it to find people in you state or town. Good luck.

Try the internet, and keep your eyes open around town. If you suspect someone, try and study their body language and conversation styles (not in a creepy, stalkerish way though!). They're out there, worry not!

Try Yahoo email groups, babe. Do a search by using your city and state. You'd be surprised what you might come up with. If that doesn't work do a search using surrounding areas.
