Tell her you have got into swinging and you are planning a party this weekend. Would she like to come?

Well you have every right to ask her to leave. It's your house so it's up to you if she stays. I don't know the whole situation so it's hard to advise but you should tell her that she should start looking for somewhere else. Don't just kick her out. Some authorities would help her out if you make her homeless. I would say to give her a time to be out. Make it however long you feel is reasonable. If she's not out by then, explain to her why you want her to leave and that she needs to go. If she won't go, you might be able to take it to court.

But before you "evict" her, think about why she hasn't chosen to leave. She might be old enough to live away from you but she may not be mature enough. I left home at 19, I can back after 2 years and left again at 24. My younger sister left home at 23 so don't rush your daughter to leave if she's not ready. Just encourage her.

Treat her like a REAL tenent. Send her an eviction notice with the reasons why and give her a deadline.

Then let her know of the consequences if she does not move out by the deadline.

I'd also contact an attorney to know of any legal procedures you can do to get her out if your "peaceful" approach fails. Don't let her shame, intimidate, or threaten you into allowing her to continue using you for her selfish needs.

you have to do it through the courts. You dont need to get a solcitor just go to the county court, fill in some form, and appear in court. Its not scary, its not set out like a proper court, it is fairly informal, just over a desk.

My step-dad evicted me to help me get a housing association house when I was younger. We played it there way in oerder to take me seriously that I was homeless. Pleased to say I have my own home now :)

Why would you want to do that?

Legally your'e not required to let her stay at home morally......

If she is in some kind of trouble and you have given up on her, I hope you have tried to get her all the help she needs. Would you just throw her out on the street or would you help her get settled somewhere else?
