Neither. It's run by a bunch of Rich, Old , predominantly White men and women.

I don't know about you, but I'm one of those "ethnic people" who came to this country (I'm German-American).
And let me take it up a notch...unless you are 100% Native American, then someone in your family immigrated to the United States at some point.
But to answer your question: no.
The USA is controlled by a bunch of far-right power-hungry bumbling fools who some (with the help of an enlightened constituency) might be on the way out, come November 7th.

No we are ruled by our goverment which we elect every 4 or 5 years. Unfortunately our system of voting does not very often give us a repesentation of how the people vote.

It's too bad that most of the ethnic people in our country know more about our founding principles and ruling government than the asker.

Neither.
We are now ruled by the EU.
Most of all new laws are made by the EU and our government just acts as a distribution department to let us know what new laws are in place. Even though they pretend they made the laws.
The only way our government rules us is through a mass of laws of their own that help Bliar (was that a typing error|) keep control of us plebeians through his controlling position of Dictator.
Plus of course those laws he passes that give his wife (sometimes known as the wicked witch, other times known as the family controller) the opportunity to make a lot more money.
Did anyone notice that when he went to the USA recently, he spoke little of USA/GB relationships. He talked, but mainly hinting at wanting paid pseudo work for when he finally gives up being our controller.

It is ruled by Geo. Bush thanks to your pathetic wimp of a pm.
BTW, It doesn't make sense to use the word 'ethnic' as you have done. Ethnic is an adjective that applies to groups, ie ethnic groups, and means that it is a group distinguished by common cultural aspects, as opposed to, say, groups identified by membership in an organisation or distinguished by selecting an IQ range, etc. Thus, it cannot sensibly be applied to a person. In that sense, every person is ethnic and hence the term would be tautological.

it would seem so wouldnt it
perhaps we should try lib/dems next time. Blair is not in control obviously time he and his party went(the further the better) another few months of labour in office and we will have to have the torys back for 15 years to get the economy back on track.
Actually a benign Dictatorship would make a refreshing change after years of self centred bigoted fools!

ALL politicians are in it for themselves. NONE of them have our interests at heart.
These days it's all down to who offers the biggest inducement as to what laws are passed. This is generally not in the interests of the British People - it's about time we changed our archaic system.
