story about man comes home finds wife and daughter butchered in kitchen by serial killer he is looking for. the thing is he can still see them both. he and his best friends, a black tall gay assasin and his short sloppy master thief killer lover both help him find this man and they are drawn into other weird gorry cases. almost all with a supernatural leaning man comes from new england. inherits his father ( who was a local cops)home. he left ny police department under strange circumstances. this is a supernatural evil force he is searching for. there is a lot of violence and gore . he kills a lot and saves many people. the books are in the public library i just do no know where
