In the world of politics, anything is possible, and things are not necessarily how they seem. For example, Bush and Cheney were recently talking about how good things were going in Iraq.

Sen. Talent has done some good for Missouri, but how good can a Sen. be if all he is is a pawn for the President. He has Voted with the President 94% of the time he has been in the Senate, yet he says that he crosses party lines to do what is right. Crossing party lines only 6% of the time taht is not even close to trying to help Missouri, he is only trying to please his President not the voters of Missouri. Sen. Talent has voted down raising the Min. wage and yet makes 165,000 a year. Missouri needs a change and somone taht cares about Missouri. That is why the voters in the State Of Missouri need to vote in a true compasionate leader Claire McCaskill.

I find it highly unlikely. I feel gays are born that way. I am a Republican but one thing I can't stand are groups saying that people can be cured of it. Maybe his idea of cured is that he was bi and now picked just the opposite sex. I would not start a relationship or marry anyone who said they were cured of homosexuality because there is no such thing...I'm sure they could try to fool themselves but I imagine it would never go away. They just start pretending and that isn't healthy for themselves or the poor opposite sex spouse they marry and the kids they have after being "cured" only to follow their heart again and pick up and leave, or sneak around. Cures for homosexuality are BS.

Let's fo a moment suspend reality, and say for the sake of argument...homosexuality was seen as the "normale, healthy" sexual lifestyle, and straight people were treated the way gay people are right now, and that procreation was delt with in the fashion one has sex with the other sex to create babies but not to love forever. Now, do you think in that world someone could be "cured" of being striaght> I bet not.

It is not possiable to "cure" someone of such a deep thing as their sexuality, and whom they choose to love. That would be like trying to "cure" someone who eats meat beacuse meat is bad...there is no changeing who and what we are born as, the very deepest parts of ourself.

of course not! he's just trying to hold onto his job. sexuality can't be cured it's a part of you. even if you stop having sex you never lose the instinct. this is what makes religous extremists who think they can change somene gay to straight by praying ignorant. what these people need to do is follow the hard teaching of jesus " love one another as I have loved you"

Yes, it is. All he has to do is wake up in the morning and yell I LOVE BOOBIES 5 times at the top of his lungs for affirmations. Then he has to make 4 passes at women a day to condition himself.

This is the same as a "recovering" alcoholic. They may not drink any more, but they will ALWAYS be an alcoholic.

I don't think "cured" is the correct word... maybe "recovering homosexual."

The same goes for pedophiles... there is no "cure" for that.

Kind of funny though, since he's running against a Lessie.
She used to have sleep-overs with Hillary, Janet Reno, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
They used to strip down and have pillow fights, and "stuff".

The guy is a greedy asshole, he's also a pussy. Don't believe anything this guy says. I'm not favoring either candidate in particular, but this guy is such an idiot.
