I find it so annoying. It's going in my car! Like I want ice cream all over my car! It's like they assume you're going to eat it right away. If I was, I wouldn't be in the drive thru! I'm going through the drive-thru because I'm taking it somewhere else to eat. Usually, it's 5 or 10 minutes away. Of course I need a lid! Why do I need to ask? The heater in my car is enough to melt half of it and that's when it's cold outside. Then DQ just gave me a lid after I asked for one and they put it over the spoon they already placed in it. Well, I needed a straw because it's now half way melted! So, of course I get home and have to take the lid off to take the spoon out so I can stick the straw in and it's a liquidy mess! It's a good thing I have access to a placemat or I'd have blizzard all over my floor. Oh, and when I ask for a lid at Ritters, they always think I need it in a bag. My cup holder works! The ice cream will tip in a bag. Does anyone else find this annoying?

The workers at the one you visit are probably lazy. LOL Sonic always hooks you up with a lid and they have the best strawberry cheesecake milkshake right now. YUMMY! And their Blizzard type drinks are GREAT. I mean they actually give you some Oreo! Haha I hope you have a Sonic in your town! :)

Annoying? Why, no, I don't. I usually don't sweat the petty little things like no lid on a Blizzard, because I do eat them right away.

A) Who drinks a blizzard? B) Ritters doesn't because there add is it's so thick you can turn it upside down and nothing falls out and that wouldn't really work with a lid. C) it's not called a blizzard at ritters

Yes....common sense is so hard to find these days! My local DQ gives their Mistys with the dome lids that have the huge hole (3") in the top. If that were to tip over, I'd have red or purple carpet! Please give me a flat blizzard lid!!!! ARRRGGHHHH!

I assume they save money by not giving you a lid. I can see how it would be annoying.
