If you want to find the volume of something small like this, here's what you should do. Fill a very small graduated cylinder with a little water, and record the volume. Then put in 1 candy corn. The water level should have risen a little. Subtract the new volume by the old one. The resultant volume you get after subtracting the two numbers is the volume of water displaced by the candy corn, and therefore, the volume of the candy corn itself.

* Remember, the smaller the graduated cylinder is, the smaller the increments of measurement will be. As a result, you'll get a much more accurate measurement.

To expand on the idea above:

1) put some water in and record the volume.
2) Add 1 candy corn and record the volume
3) Add another and record the volume
4) Add a 3rd and record the volume
5) Plot volume vs Candy Corns added
6) Add a linear fit line to the 4 data points. The slope of the line is the average volume of a candy corn!

***Make sure all the candy corn is under the water when you are using displacement to measure volume! You should also tap out all the bubbles.
