When you dial *67 before placing a phone call , it will block your number. Your number will be seen as a Private Caller. Dialing *87 does the opposite, if you have your number blocked, you can dial *87 and it will unblock your number so people can view your number.

The difference is that *67 is to block your number and *82 is to reveal your number
