i think it would be my best friend not telling me that would hurt the most cause guys come and go girlfreinds are supose to be thee forever

Significant other cheating because more than likely you're in love with that person. I would be angry and hurt at my best friend for not telling but not as much as being cheated on.

It would hurt more, if my significant other, cheated on me, I could half @ss understand, if my close friend knew about it and didn't tell me, especially if she didn't want to hurt my feelings. I'm glad i'm not in this predicament and I hope I never will be.

The significant other cheating because I could accept my best friend wanting to spare my feelings, but knowing they would be there to pick up the pieces in the end.

Your significant other cheating on you...........maybe your best friend didn't want to hurt your feeling or was waiting for the right time to tell you. Cheating is always horrible...

I've been in that situation. Not fun. I would have to say it depends on two things. At what state is the relationship between you and your sig. other, and how close of a friend this person is. In my instance, I was more hurt by the close friend because my relationship was basically over.

The cheating part. Unless the cheating was with your close friend.
If the cheating didn't happen in the first place, there'd be nothing for your close friend to hold back.
No question about this tho: it sucks to have both happen!

What hurt the most was when my wife cheated and my best friend knew and didn't tell because it was him she was cheating with.

that your close friend knew about it and didnt tell you because thats a double wammy. (ur significent other is cheating AND ur friend didnt tell you!)

Both would hurt, but you count on your close friends to tell you the truth and if they were to keep something that important from you, I would be very hurt and disappointed in them and wonder about our friendship.
