I want to shake your hand, Sir. Don't emasculate now, while you're doing so good!

you were right to be upset, flirting is not good (I used to be very good at it, famous for it really, until I woke up to myself and the damage I was doing.) Your reaction may have been a little extreme though, perhaps it would have made things easier if you'd simply discussed your feelings with her. In any relationship, it's never a case of 'you have a problem,' you 2 have become 1, so it's better to say, 'we have a problem, and I need your help to sort it out.' Makes it likely she won't get defensive on you and will sit down and talk about it.

Seems a bit extreme for "flirting".

Is there some history of infidelity? Was the flirtee in your home at the time?

Need more info. But, if it's simple flirting, you're probably over-reacting.

Wow! If flirting is a crime - I should have dumped my husband years ago. Look - flirting is one thing. Cheating is another. Flirting isn't cheating. But your reaction tells me that you don't trust her. Maybe that's the bigger issue here. Successful marriages rely on some trust. You have to trust that she loves you enough to not cheat on you even if she is a flirt. Some people are just naturally outgoing that way. But if she's cheated on you before, that's a different story.

Looks like you are not very sure of your relationship... But then why would she flirt? Isn't she either? Flirting is dangerous, can turn serious with a blink. Still though, you should deal with your problems and women like a gentleman, not a jerk...

I suppose to answer this fully, I would need to know more about what type of flirting was going on...assuming that it was your run of the mill flirtation and not actually "cheating", I would say that in most cases flirting is pretty harmless.

Sounds like perhaps you've had previous experience with this? If not, you're probably being a bit hasty. She's not your girlfriend, she's your wife . . . there's a commitment there. But if she was being unfaithful - that's another thing. Give yourself time to cool off but then listen to what she has to say.

well when you wake up in the morning and feel like a real idiot maybe when you beg your wife to come home i hope for you she will. i think that's harsh for flirting and i bet you do it and don't realise. just calm down and think about what your doing before its too late, good luck

Flirting?
Flirting's pretty harmless most of the time. If she was being unfaithful then I might agree with you, but just flirting with someone doesn't mean she is.

Flirting is so the least of your worries I'm sure. Have you know forgiveness in your heart? Did you know it's a sin to be unforgiving, especially towards a spouse;.......this question is so stupid I doubt it's serious.
