I always accept responsibility for my actions because they were MY actions, no one else's. I think it is lame for someone to do something and try to make excuses or point fingers - unless you're 2 years old, of course, lol.

I accept responsibility... but I'm not going to be a hypocrite and tell you I've never played the finger pointing game. I feel you have to do that at least once to realize it's not worth your dignity.

I will take full responsibility for my own actions. I'm not ashamed of what I do, even if I bomb and fail. At least I can say I tried.
Pointing fingers is a lack of maturity, imho. I'd learned by age ten to handle duties & responsibilities with integrity. Thanks to my parents, may they rest in peace, for teaching me the hard lessons in life.
