I found out my dad has a serious drinking problem
My dad and brother got into a huge fight in front of my 7 year old daughter
I had to take my daughter to the emergency room at 9:30pm
Didn't get home and in bed until around 1:30am

First, I don't think anyone "turned" lesbian...she was probably in denial for years, and finally quit trying to be someone she wasn't. (Try pretending to be a lesbian for a couple decades, then tell everyone you're really straight....that's what's happening to her, in reverse.) Accept her for who she is, not who you want her to be.
Now that I've said that, my life's going well overall.
