I am a freshman in high school. I always wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon ever since I broke my arm (3 times). I was curious as to which universities have the best program for orthopedic surgery.

Obviously , to be a surgeon you have to be an M.D> first. So that means you have to get into the best college you can get into, then you have to do really well in college, then you have to get into med school and spend four years, then you have to do two years general residency, then you can start your surgical residencies and in four or five years, there you'll be!!! Nothing to it.

Do a really, really good job in math, biology, chemistry, AP chemistry, and calculus-based physics in high school and you will be on your way.

If this sounds hard, then you got the message. How badly do you want this? If you want it badly enough, you will do what it takes. ]

Good luck. Go for it!
