Hopefully we can teach our kids that the media isn't all correct so that it will not affect them so much because the media is not going to change

It used to be just teenagers who had low self esteem because media would tell them there to big, to skinny, if they haven't lost there virginity by the age of 13 they never will, that if they miss a meal there anorexic so to make up for it why not become bulimic. Boys fair no better as there told to smoke, get pissed, drive sports cars and have a six pack...then you will get laid by the girl on page 3. We now have parents with children as young as 6 who want to dress and act like 20 year olds, just have to have a mobile phone and can swear as good as any trucker!! is there a negative effect to media on young people??? nahhh!

The over-dramatization of some politician's screw-up.
Young adults can easily get the wrong message and get the idea that that whole political party should be executed.

If you believe what they say you will be warped but using them as a means to come to a fair conclusion of your own is good in making you think.
