First things first- neither Emo nor Juggaloes are part of goth culture. Got that out of the way. . . now heres what they are.

emo is a kind of drippy, depressing music- worse than goth ever got. it's short for emotional or emotive. It's usually sung by people who have a subdued mode of dress. It's very introspective in nature, and not at all shocking.

A Juggalo, as has already been mentioned by another answer, is a devotee of ICP. The band came up with a sort of religion for them, as well, which makes a certain kind of twisted theological sense. I'm not a juggalette, but I get a real kick out of these guys.

Goth, used in a modern context, is anything with a connection to either the gothic poetry of the romantic era, or the gothic movement of the dark ages that gave us such magnificent architecture and such strident music. (the romantic poets were also influenced by the earlier medieval stuff, which is how gothic literature came to be called that in the first place.) How this happened to arise in a modern context at all- a rather perceptive magazine reviewer called the music of Joy Division "gothic" and it really, really stuck. This was in 1977.

To be fair, all of these subcultures do wind up meeting eachother as a result of some overlap in interests and modes of dress.

simply be inventive with the matters that they will let you do. i am not a goth, however i believe that is traditionally the one factor you'll be able to do if they are now not letting you do some thing else.

Emo is short for emotional, usually reffering to music prefference, style of dress, and cliques people associate themselves with.
