if u press properties, on ur desktop, then go setting, adn advanced and trouble shoot theres a bar wid hardware accelaration. When i installed hyper cam i had to turn it from full to 0, can this harm my computer? shud i put it back to top or shall i keep it at bottom? wat does it mean the hardware accelaration?

This refers to whether the graphics displayed by your graphics card is rendered by the hardware or a software rendering engine. In general, hardware will always be faster. It can't harm the computer to change this setting, however, you may experience problems running certain graphic applications (e.g. games, 3D modeling, etc.). Changing to software rendering is slower, but is generally more compatible. So, you may need to turn off or lower hardware acceleration if you're having troubles running a certain application.

Hard ware acceleration is the process which runs ur computer faster or slower... it is meant that wht kind of level u want give ur Processor?...marking it to zero means ur Processor will process with very slow speed ..so keep it Higher and never down it..it makes system faster or slower....thats it..where...Graphic Acceleration means ..how much quantity u want to give ur system from VGA...droping down means u want VGA not to work ...so keep both higher...chaoo

It means that the camera is working on its own, and that means there is less stress on your CPU. Yes it should help, and no i dont think it should harm your computer.

Install all the newest video drivers not necessarily from the cd.
