Helena by My Chemical Romance because the music video is a funeral,
The World's Not Waiting by Fall Out Boy because it's a good song for the occaision.
Time Of Your Life by Green Day because the title says it all!
I don't know, that's a long way from now so I'm not that worried about it...

My dad was married to my step mother for about 11 yrs. She was having an affair with a married man and would not stop when my father asked her to. He is a very virtuous man, and believed he could forgive her if she would only stop. She wouldn't and they divorced. After the divorce was finalized he played this song for me and told me when he died....and he is only 44, he wanted me to play "He stopped loving her today" by George Jones. He never stopped loving her after the atrocious things she put him through, he has such a pretty heart. And he wanted her to know. The day he died, would be the day he stopped loving her.
He has now been married to my new step mother for 2 yrs and they have a little girl 7 months old. My little half sister! I am so glad to see him happy today. But I will always remember to play that song for him. Hopefully it stabs my first step mother in the heart the way she did to my dad.

Another One Bites the Dust

If you can't laugh at yourself...

How about a bunch of folk songs and drinking songs, they are good for setting a mood.

I want them to sing Wind Beneath My Wings to my hubby, but change it to You WERE the Wind Beneath HER Wings. I also want them to sing "I Wish We'd All Been Ready" because it deals with things people should know about and then for a finale "Bridge Over Troubled Water" because it is a beautiful song. (Yeah, I know, I'm nuts)
