Its a marketing ploy. OMG 50 blades!!! That must be the best shave ever!! 3 blades on the Mach 3 razor is as good as it gets.

I agree. I actually keep watching for the next razor to up how many blades it has. It's crazy. On 7/7/07 will the next razor with 7 blades come to be??

I do find that as far as women's razors go I like the ones with 3-4 blades, I rarely get cuts or razor burn like I did with the ones that had single blades

I use the Mach 3 turbo. I have tried the new Gilette with 6. 5 for shaving and 1 for trimming. It is no good. I have also used the ones with a single blade. Not good either. My skin is so sensitive that I break out in skin bumps and rash with any other shaver that the Mach 3. It seems to work the best. Cannot use electric either. Sometimes I still have to take a break from shaving and let it grow out just to heal.

6 blades? thats just waay to many... when 3 blades came out MAD TV parodied it with a 20 blade razor.. it was so funny...
so back to the point... 6 = too many... unless they engineer it right... the razor i use has 4 blades.

I agree that the Mach 3 is the best one out there. I use it for my bikini area and underarms and the Intuition for my legs cause it is so much faster not having to use shaving cream. Anything over three blades is pretty much a waste.

I don't get it either. I use the BIC single-blade disposable razors for sensitive skin. They work great!

Lol.They just want to believe that the more razors you have the closer shave you will get.Like that makes any sense lol.
