Most likley this is a 'textured' ceiling. Other types are 'blown' or 'popcorn' textures. Just finished removing the texture from mine (yuk!) -- the foam texture was so large it looked like cottage cheese and was a real pain to clean.

Since cellulite is a structural issue (muscle) it can be fixed with simple and unique body movements which target the cellulite areas. These types of moves can be followed by any woman, regardless of her age or fitness level. And it doesn?t matter if the cellulite started in the early teen years, or after pregnancy, or after menopause, it?s still a structural issue that results from soft, un-toned muscles underneath the saggy, dimpled, shadowy skin. As a medical researcher I don't really recommend phony lotions, painful treatments, crazy skin-brushing, useless body-wrapping or toxin-Flushing pill-scams. Check out this site if you want to know more about how to treat cellulite http://nocellulite.toptips.org

Stucco is a common finish, or popcorn...very common for older houses built in the 70's and 80's.

It is a stippling effect caused by just putting sheet rock mud up there and taking a brush you can buy at Lowes and pushing it up into the mud. If you want it down and it has not been painted, wet it with a spray bottle and push it off, be sure to use vinyl dropcloths.

Hi, isn't it when they mix stones or rubble with the paint to make it appear warmer and modern? Sorry not much help, but I know its on my bedroom walls and really hurts if you rub yourself (not that I'm some sort of freak, that rubs myself on my walls)on them, my mum and dads house is quite old so they were expensive to do the walls like that some time ago, but I don't think they do it anymore. Good on you for keeping the stone walls alive :-) Hayley-May
