if u drink alcohol then have angina spray before a blood test will it be a true reading?

It causes vasodilation of the blood vessels....so therefore allows better blood flow.... taking to much of this causes a severe decrease in blood pressure....which could be very dangerous...also gives most people a headache because it upsets the delicate intracranial pressure mechanism........and yes of course it affects a blood test

it is possible that the vascular dilation from the spray releives the stress on the heart and the test comes back falsely negative but hey whats important? positive test or saving the heart! this is why you see a doctor asap if you have angina and let them decide, typically they will do things like stress test to get other tests positive if you have true heart disease, good luck

i use GTN angina spray once every 2 months id say, will let u know one day if ever it happens.
