the other day when the answers team took a nap...the questions that weren't deleted (and I counted over 100 in 6 pages in this section alone) all got astounding numbers of answers to their q's because the pages weren't moving. I saw one, forgot what section, that had 377 answers. But in the normal course of things, 100 is on the high end unless you are a celebrity.

I've seen over a 100 at least 5 times.

I haven't seen 100 answers for any given question yet, though I've seen some who came very close to that mark. I don't think there's a limit, it's more of a factor of variables that go along with any given question.

Oh it happens, but usually only to the people who get their questions posted as featured questions, so everyone sees them. I saw like 8 pages of answers on some famous writer's (it was official too). Good luck!

It would have to be an eye-popping question. Most questions get less than 20 answers that I've seen. Some only get one or two.

Have you not seen some of the questions famous people have asked? They get over 1000 answers when they ask something.

Yes, I've seen them with 500+.
Go to a category and you will see the sort buttons: date and Number of answers. Click on the sort button for number of answers and you see just how many answers one can get.

Well yes, different people tackle different questions and problems in different ways. A white ,black ,indian and other colours of human ve different way and answers to questions. Marriage is a very good example, poeple ve many answers to why they should and shouln't marry.

yes it is possible. if i asked you to list every number between 1 and 101. you could ask yhis question of any numbers and theoretically theres no limit to the answers
