When you start you computer up hit the F8 button about 10 times. Then choose Safe Mode. Then choose to start Windows XP. Then got to Control Panel. Then choose Administrator. Then it will give you option to open any user account, and under that you can choose to REMOVE THE PASSWORD. Then just shut your computer down. This just happened to me. If you have anymore questions or that doesn't work email me at Aberendzen01@yahoo.com and I will try to help you get through it.

You can go to the Start Menu, Control Panel, User Accounts. There's an option in that menu to remove the password, if you are the administrator.

there must be a jumper at the motherboard that you just transfer from one million -two to two -three by and large, then boot and it must reset. if you are taking the battery out, it's going to reset all bios settings, adding procedure clock. determine your mobo specifications and it must let you know wherein the jumper is, however moreover, why do you now not have the password and do you've the authorization to be taking aside the computer?

Since you can't get into windows due to forgetting your password, you should try entering it in safe mode (F10 at reboot).

Once in, you should be able to right click "My computer" -> Manage -> Local users and groups -> Users -> right click on the admin user -> " set password"
