We just moved out of CA to UT about 2 1/2 months ago. My older kids are in school, husband is off to work everyday, and I am so lonley!!! What the hell? It was my big fat stupid idea to move here now I can't for the life of me make any friends..... I met this one chick and like after 20 min of talking she was like " So if you don't mind me asking how much is your house worth and how much money do you guys make?" Then there's another chick and she's like " So do you guys party?" Those arn't the kind of "friends" I want. I'm almost 30 and have 3 kids are there any "normal" people here or am I doomed?

Honestly sweetie...I don't think any of those answers were the right answer.....Not saying mine is going to be but hey I'm sure you'll eventually get used to it ....hopefully soon! =) Utah huh? Wow that's way out there isn't it...haha ok I'm over doing it...ain't that far! hahaha The more places you move to the harder it's going to be to find friend's and the more places you go the weirder the people you know?! To tell you the truth none of the people back in cali are too normal either! lol that's where I'm at right now, born and raised here. You know what you should do is just get out and go to community meeting's and go shop around and you'll bump into more and more people cuz I'm sure they're not all weird! hahhaha well I hope you find what your looking for hun...me I can just blast my music and sing all day long that is if I didn't have to work and go to school. lol If all fail's sweetie...you can talk to me....I have a yahoo 360 k? Well I can understand not liking it when the first one asked you about your personal finances, but what's wrong with the second one asking whether you party? Sounds like a normal question to me....maybe she just wanted to know if it was cool to smoke a joint with you?

it takes some time 2 make friends. just start talking to new people and don't try to force it, or you'll look really desperate.
