Perhaps it's something to do with the "-" parts of the address that don't register!?

Are there supposed to be dashes in the address? It might not be recognised, despite the http:// prefix.
http://-nodashes-.bebo.com is not a real address, lets see if it turns blue!
http://www.-TheMadness-.bebo.com
Its the dashes. Take them out and it turns into a link.
