She was probably in the dark from the management team about the Honduras children making her clothes. Meaning, she may not have known that they were being made, but, someone who was on her team of executives knew and try to keep her in the dark. The less she knew about it, the better off for them. But then, she found out about that and she was really hurt and upset that she would have children make her clothes. Grant it, she would talk about her own freaking children and showcase them every 5 damn minutes, which made Reg mental. But, I do not think she knew about the Honduras child labor scandal but i do believe some one on her staff for clothes design, did.

No she did not and she expressed it quite vehemently on her Regis & Kathie Lee Show at the time. She even went to Congress and worked with Bill Clinton to do something about the sweatshops. I give her a lot of credit. She does a lot for charities too.

She probably didn't know where the clothes were made, and didn't know where the countries were located when she did find out the names.
I'm betting she was also ignorant of what would happen to the suddenly unemployed children when the clothing industry there was closed, since they probably didn't have schools or other work to go back to.

She claimed she didn't at the time, but I would think if a person is into a business deal, especially in retail, they know how much they have to pay their workers and who is making their clothes.
