If it is one of those "smooth" kind of dents that just looks like it had been pushed in, you can try pulling it out with a plunger. Just suction the plunger to the dent and pull. I've seen it done, and it looks pretty good. If it is a "crunchy" dent with paint damage and stuff like that, I don't think the plunger trick will work.

no tools? try using your noggin... can you get to the back side of the panel in question? if so put a soft rag or large bath towel in the middle of the largest or deepest part of the dent and give it a quick punch inthe direction you want it to go, repeat until you get it all out, watch out for sharp corners/edges and wear protective gloves and long sleeves

if you have one you can try a suction cup
smear it with Vaseline and give it a good yank
