I assume you are referring to the crack that runs between the buttocks, from the lower spine via the anus (arsehole, rectum) and the external female genitalia (pissflaps), or,if male, the same region that culminates at the base of the testicles (balls, nuts, bollocks). If this area, in man or woman, develops cracked skin, that it can be dealt with by frequent washing, say five times daily. Once with hot water and soap,(on rising) then twice with hot water(11.00; 15.00), once again with soap,(after dinner) and finally, at bed-time, hot water again. I would also suggest that you wear no clothes whatsoever, not even underpants or panties, if those who you live with will allow it, at any time when you are at home. This will give your skin a chance to breathe - we do keep the buttocks/crotch covered up too tightly, and the resultant pressure from clothing, and the results of sweat, lead to a reddened crotch, perinium, and the inter-buttock crack.

If your buttocks, as distinct from the crack between them ,are cracked, then I suggest that you see a Doctor of Medicine pronto. I can't say anything more on this, except that it could be a fungal infection, or a nasty codition known as intertrigo, which is an irritation set up by chafing between clothing (or body parts) and the body.

See a Doctor of Medicine, is my advice. Soon.

Keep the skin clean and try zinc and castor oil cream for nappy rash, or comfrey ointment.
Only use a dab, it will get grease on your clothes but will help it heal up.
