There are many ways to do that,

1. USB Flash Drive, buy or get a USB DRIVE and copy all files to them and then to the new computer.

2. Burn the files on a cd or many cds and just copy the files from the cd to the new pc. (if you have CD Burner and software to Burn)

3. Network, get an network cable (Crossover) Configuration and setup a little network on your home and start copying files.

and a lot of more, the number 1 and 2 are the easiest way.

I assume you have a Windows machine. If you buy a new Dell (or other brands) you can get a piece of software that will allow you to move from your old computer to a new one. If you had a Macintosh, all you would need is a Firewire cable and the software is free.

yes you can transfer by saving everything on disc. I wanted to warn you about dell comp. I bought one on a payment plan. It froze up on me twice before the first 30 days. when I went to return it ( within 30days of receiving) they told me it was no longer under warranty. I paid $70.00 to ship it back to them. Then they charged me $200.00 for depreciation value even thou it didn't work properly in the first place. They called me wanting to know wear there P.C. was. When I had the post office track it dell had already signed for it more than a month before they asked me wear it was. My attorney has sent them letters & they have not responded. They do however continue to send me bills. My attorney is handeling this for me. It has been a nightmare since my initial call to Dell.
