It's happened to me too, & I felt terrible about it. I ended up contacting the person that I thought had the best answer, because they allowed contact, and I apologized. That helped clear my conscience & it gave validation to the person who'd answered the question more thoroughly and completely than I did.

Yes but sometimes when picking best one person answer stinks out. I think that is the reason that happens. I have done it myself

its not like we get any REAL reward anyways...we're supposed to be helping ppl and if the person who asks the question thinks you're the most helpful then they're gracious and give you 8 xtra points...not like we get paid or anything...
