you need a heater core,fortunately yours is easy,undo the hose clamps,remove cover in rear of glove box and it's right there

You need to replace your heater core, it is relatively easy to do on your vehicle. Also check the hoses coming to the core and consider replacing them at the same time, use new clamps.

Probably your heater core. Is there any fluid leaking underneath? Depending on your mechanical abilities and the exact year of the pickup, it should be easy enough to replace yourself.

if you dont need the heater then find the 2 hoses that go into the firewall to the heater core and just connect them together, you will eliminate the heater cors all together

Sounds like your heater core is shot. I had the same thing happen on my '88 'stang 5.0.

Replace the heater core right away. You can loose coolant pressure and burn up the engine.
