Wet the spot with a little water,Take a dry paper towel and fold in half and place it on top. Get out your Clothes Iron and heat it up and Iron the paper towel, the gummy bear will heat up and stick to the paper towel, afterwords, if there a color stain left on the floor, try poroxcide..really it works! It will even bubble out blood out of a shirt, just don't leave it on long dab it with a dry towel to pull up the color as it bubbles up.

first try picking out as much as possible. Then use a carpet cleaner such as Folex (this is the BEST but its is about $7 a bottle) and then use a brush to loosen the fibers. leave it on there for about a minute and then come back with a good paper towel. Soak up the excess cleaner and reapply. Scrub one more time and see if has come up. You basically want to dissolve it and scrub it away to get the sugars out.

ICE CUBE and make the gummy bear cold: you can then pull it off easily because it isn't gummy anymore.

Goof Off at your local hardware store. I took wax out of a carpet with it once.

margarine. saturate the carpet around it, hand lotion may evenwork, you know how you can use peanut butter to bet gum out of your hair, it works the same way, you may even try peanut butter to get it out of the carpet. a wet rag and soapy water will get the margarine or peanut butter out of the carpet.
