It is possible if the silent majority in America will ignore the liberal media and vote their conscience.

I do not believe McCain will be the next President because I do not believe he can win the GOP nomination. He's too moderate. Too bad, I think he'd be a good one.

As for still having both houses of Congress, the GOP won't have them even for the rest of the year. It depends upon how the Democrats handle the next two years to see if the GOP will be able to take them back in 2008.

Karl Rove will allow a late October bombing to occur, or release some Osama footage out to frighten some Americans into voting Republican, or to stay home on Election Day. Or, he might call on his friends in the voting booth business to "help out" on Election Night. As for a McCain presidency, a more conservative candidate, possibly under Rove's advice, will portray the Arizona senator as a borderline psycho and mentally unfit to be president, just like Bush and Rove did to him during the South Carolina primary in the 2000 Republican primary.

I will vote for McCain if he is the Republican nominee. Not because he is republican, but because I believe is as good/honest as any politician can be. He is intelligent and I've met the man a few times when I used to live in Arizona. Now I have a question for you. Will you vote for him because of his platform/personality or do you blindly vote for anyone on the GOP ticket?

McCain will not be the next President. No as well to the repubs continuing to control both houses. They may get one...but not both.

i don't even think McCain will be the candidate for next year.
But i believe things will go back to normal after Bush and congress will be of the opposing party than the president.
This is good because it would provide more for the checks and balances, which we need now more than ever!

McCain is the ONLY Republican I could live with as President, but alas, he like so many of his Congressional compadres will fall victim to the Democratic housecleaning which will begin this November. Seen the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll? Only 14% of the American people have confidence in the Republicans - that's not how you retain both Houses of Congress. Say bye-bye to your majority.

McCain has been a pretty good senator out here, but he is not going to become the next president. The only thing either party hates more than each other is one of their own being a Maverick and thinking for himself.Kind of how most Americans hate that sort of thing in anyone because it reminds them of how stupid they are for polarizing their brains out.

If he gives up his fight against full contact martial arts events,(Which never have been a form of "Bare knuckle boxing" as he claims they are)then he will probably get my vote in 08'.

McCain might have a very slight outside chance, but the rest of the GOP thugs and criminals don't stand a chance in November. If they do, this country is screwed worse than it is now. We need change and we need it NOW....

McCain has pissed off loyal Republicans across this country. He may run, but he will not be the nominee. I think we will still control both Houses but the majority will be so slim as to be ineffectual with the continued obstruction by the Democrats.

Wouldn't that be nice? McCain seems the most down to earth and sensible politician out there.
