A Cd-Rw is a ReWriteable CD. They are blank cd's that works like tapes and could be recorded over and over again. CD R are not rewriteable. Ram is what computers have that shows how many programs it can run. Memory is a hard drive, how much stuff could u store on your computer. Secondary Storage is an external hard drive. You need a cd burner to acutally use CD RW's. It can be used as a secondaryry storgage b/c it is not only good for music, it can be used for word documents too to transfer from on computer to another. Anyways hope this helps.

A CD-RW is a special type of CD that you can store information on, and then later change/overwrite/delete the information off of. You need a CD burner to actually use it and put files on it. It is not a primary storage source, but it could be used as a portable storage device (if any places you'll use the data at have a CD-RW burner).
Hope that helps! :^)

C.

Like what other people described cd-rw is a secondary form of storage. Second only to the hard drive. It is primary used to store data on, and can be written over repeatly like a hard drive on your computer. A CD-R can only have data written on it once.

A CD-RW IS SIMPLY A RECORDABLE DISC WHICH CAN BE ERASED AND RECORDED AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES. RW IS FOR ReWritable. Like a VHS or VIDEO 8 tape. That's all.
