1) Have u ever been 2 Egypt?
Yes.
2) What did u like the most?
The piramids of Giza, the old bazaar in Cairo, visiting the Cairo museum, touring the Valley of the Kings in Luzor, cruising oalong the Nile in the late evening, relaxing at the beach resort at Shem El Sheikh, diving at the Red Sea, taking the camel ride at Dahab, trekking Mount Sinai to watch sunrise and ...and thats not all..taking a ferry to Jordan. Well that's the second part of the adventure.
3) What didn't u like?
- Tourist traps..tonnes of them.
- Tips..everyone including police would ask for tips.
- bargaining for everything from food, to accomodation to transport etc..
4) Any suggestions how 2 improve that?
Nope..still a wonderful country to visit.
But plan for time to travel from point to point. Unless you are loaded and could afford taking a plane from point to point. We had to cramp in smelly old buses for 12 hrs in one point.
5) When did u come?
Dec 2002
6) Where are u from?
Singapore
7) will u come again?
Yes. I love the country..most exotic place ever been.
8) If u didn't visit Egypt, is that in ur future plan?

Have u ever been 2 Egypt? Yes in the Spring and I am leaving again soon
What did u like the most? The people
I lived with them in a small village. Now I am studying the language. I don't think that I would enjoy this trip as much without an Egyptian family that I was with in Egypt. I don't like tours but I want to be right in the culture.
When did u come? April and November
Where are u from? US
Will u come again? I plan to go every year
If u didn't visit Egypt, is that in ur future plan? To go to many other countries too.

Im from Ireland and i've been to Egypt this june. we found it extremley hot (one day on the cruise it reached 55 deg!!) so were going back next October when it will be a little cooler.
We spent the first week on a cruise on the Nile. I thought it would be boring as im only a teenager but i had my cousin and there was also alot of other teenagers on the ship who we made friends with. The excursions i found a little bit boring as i dont really like history but we were back on the boat by 11 or 12 to get the sun!! the staff were brill and couldt help enough. As for when we got off the boat in Luxor it was alot of fun the people were soo nice. ( the girls do get alot of attention.)
We spent the second week in a resort on the red sea called el gouna. this was lovely and a little cooler here because we were beside the sea. I loved it there because there was alot to do, watersports and stuff like that. I liked it in the night aswelll because we all went to the nightclub called the palma.
Can't wait to go again. Egypt is a beautiful country and people who havent been there dont know what there missing!!

1.I have been to Egypt, it is an amazing country.
2.I loved the pyramids, the history, the Nile cruise. Alexandria is pretty but I think Cairo is my favorite because of the museum there.
3.I didn't like the traffic, the pollution is bad sometimes. The people for the most part are very kind but some of them stare at foreign women and this made me uncomfortable.
4.Education I think, some boy was making comments to my husband about me, he thought that since I am American that I was a prostitute. After Mido (my Egyptian husband ) grabbed him and threatened him he quit. But it was very uncomfortable for me, especially since I was not dressed to make anyone think that.
5& 6. I am an American, married to an Egyptian. We were living in Saudi Arabia at the time of our trip.
7. Inshallah I will come again many times, all of my husbands family still live in Alex.

1--yes, I've been to Egypt :-)
2--there were many things I enjoyed--the historical/archaeological stuff (the various pyramids, the sites at Luxor, Karnak, valley of the kings, museums in Cairo) I also really enjoyed the perfume and papyrus shops, as well as the boat ride on the Nile at sunset... I heard many warnings about being cautious of people there--but when i fell on the sidewalk in Cairo, slicing my foot open, people were super helpful--getting me to a pharmacy for a bandage and then on to the hospital for stitches.
3--I didn't necessarily love the haze over Cairo--I stayed at the pyramids hotel--and could only see the peaks of the pyramids through the smog for a few minutes one morning. the rest of the time, visibility was zero.
4--not sure how to improve that....maybe work on pollution from the automobiles, etc?
5--I was there in November of 1999
6--I am from Ohio, USA
7--I'd love to come again! hopefully someday I can. :-)

hey!
I go every summer. I love the pyramids and the people are very nice,,, very trust worty. What I dont like is that if you have your hair done or if your hair is down and you are in the city like place, all the men will whistle at you and say things in arabic to you. Suggestions.... umm I dont know!. But getting your hair done is soo cheap and they are professionals out there, its only $1.73 in US dollars. cool huh? well anyway.... I go every yeasr like I said. I was born in america but both my parents were born there so im kinda both,.
Well i hope you visit it one day.... oh and you have to see the pyrmids and the sphinx. beautiful stuff! k welcome
