Since when does it matter what everyone else thinks? This is YOUR daughter. Give her the name that will mean something to you.

You pick what you want, I guess it depends on who the other people are that don't like what you are picking. I like Savannah and Marci but I haven't heard of Maura. I like Jessica, Elizabeth, Micahela, Im sure there are some others. Good Luck and congrats.

I like them all. I like Savannah the best but I don't know how much help I can be I have two boys Matthew and Jason. I have always liked the names Alexia and Kaitlin. American Baby has a cool baby name search. They tell you the meaning and the originality. I hope this helps any. Congrats and Good Luck!!!!! :)

Unless you involve them in choosing your child's name, it's nobody else's business. I like those names alot and they're a heck of a lot better than Crystal, Tiffany, Shaniqua, etc. Just send a birth announcement w/the baby's name - no point in letting people make this an issue for you.

I like Savannah. The others seem like older ladies' names, but Savannah I think is good from newborn on. It's something she can grow with.

I named my girl after what I love music(Melody) try and make it easier and try not to think to hard about what people think? Name your baby with your heart in mind and you'll find the right name for example I had a cousin name her daughter after a galaxy or a season set a standard and don't worry about what people say.

There are some wonderful websites that give you variations of popular names. Check them out! You can search specifically for Meanings of names, Bible names, Ethnic names, etc. The best way is to Google "Baby Names." That is what we did to try and find different variations for our baby. Good Luck!

Hey, honestly it's your child, so basically you have to like them. Me personally, I have a preference for Savanah. People around me laugh at some of the names I want to give too, but I know those are the right names for my children. So, if to you one of those is the right name, then stick to it. You have to do what feels right to you and your child and not to someone else.

Pick a couple different names,keep them to yourself!! When the baby comes you'l know just what to name her from what she looks like. For a boy I had Bryce or Brandon picked out. Bryce for blond hair and Brandon for brown or black hair. he was blond with blue eyes and I knew he was a Bryce. Same thing with my girl..you'll know just what to name her when the time comes!
