I have over 450 Southwestern Reporter Texas Cases library books & over 150 Vernons Statutes law books. I am downsizing my home (my sons are moving out) and need to clear out my library. They are in excellent condition and appear to be numerical in nature. Any ideas?

I'd consult with a university campus (although they might want a donation rather than purchasing), or maybe legal offices would take them if the price is right. That's quite an expensive collection. Probably if legal offices don't want them they might be able to point you in the right direction of someone who would. I'd love to have that collection, but I don't have anywhere near the kind of money something like that would be worth (or the space for it, either, alas!).

Try contacting the Texas State Bar Association. they probably have a magazine, and you can advertise.

Or maybe there is some on-line site for Texas lawyers, where you could post more quickly.

Good luck.

You could always use them as barbecue fuel.
