So bush can torture anybody he likes till death without question. Isnt that what dictaters do? and how can good people let this happen?

Sorry, I'm English so I don't know how tough you have it over there right now with all your freedom and privacy taken away. The one point I do want to make, though, is that Bush Junior was NOT elected - TWICE!
The English and the Yanks keep blaming the American people for electing him, but let's not forget he bought his way in both times!
Only a true dictator can gain and retain power despite the will of the people.

The morality of torture aside, as this in itself could fill volumes. I think there is a big difference between Bush and a dictator, a dictator would censor media coverage so nobody really knew what was going on, a dictator would not be constitutionally removable, and a dictator would not be ultimately responsible to the courts and the people.

Is torture wrong? If torturing someone who knew the time/date/location of a terrorist attack that would cost lives and torturing the said terrorist would reveal that required information, is it not correct that the police/MI5/MI6 should be able to take any means necessary to obtain that information.
