I will be in Westminster area and I think the best way to get Gatwick Airport is from Victoria Station!??

Victoria is in the London Borough of Westminster.
If you mean Westminster Square/Houses of Parliament area, then walking would only take 5 minutes.

There are two train routes to Gatwick Airport from central london.
From Victoria Station you can catch "The Gatwick Express" or a local service (Cheaper and only slightly slower)

Or you can take the Thameslink service from Blackfriars/London Bridge/Farringdon

You can easily walk from Westminster to Victoria or you could take the Circle/district underground line from Westminster station to Victoria station.
You can also take a bus, which will be cheaper but is probably not worth it.

Yes, the fastest and most reasonably priced way to travel to Gatwick is via train from Victoria Station.

Victoria Station is just down the road from Westminster. If you are traveling lightly, it is a 5-10 minute walk. If you are laden with luggage, a cab will be a quick, inexpensive ride.
