Battery lights don't come on becaue of bad batteries, but because the alternator isn't working. It's bad connections to the alternator most of the time, but can be a bad alternator too. It's real easy for a good alternator person to tell with a voltmeter as long as it's acting up while he's looking.

Almost certainly the alternator isn't charging or supplying sufficient power. Check the drivebelt tension and look for at least 14.5v at the alternator. (simple, but maybe garage job?). Alternator will recharge the battery, the light will go off, the blowers and the a/c will come on and stay on once SUFFICIENT power is restored/available.

Maybe you have an electric problem, so u might want to go to a mechanic so they can change your circuit board. If not check to see if the battery is compatible to your mustang.

Check the alternator and the connections to it. That's most likely your problem. Also, check the belt to make sure it's in good condition, tight and not slipping at all.
