It is a fact of life that men are born more powerful than female. With that in mind, it could depend on the sport.

Sports that do not require power could be played against both sexes. But you cannot in power sports, such as, football, tennis and golf.

What do you think? What are the differences between both male and female?

Men are stronger, no doubt about it. Women do excel at many sports, but will consistently beat men in very few. One good example is endurance swimming, where the extra fat that women have is actually an advantage. Another -- and my personal favorite -- is equestrian sports, which I believe is the only Olympic sport where men and women compete on equal terms.

Only when they have a horse, boat, or other means of equalising. The fastest man runner is naturally faster than the fastest woman. You can have mixed grass-hockey, though, and mixed doubles at tennis. Golf is a borderline case.
