The movie is called "This is my father"
It is about a man who goes to Ireland to search for his birth parents. Most of the movie is told from his parents' point of view. It is so sad and heartbreaking, it's a classic story of two lovers who were never able to be together.

I love to occationally watch Drop Dead Fred, a funny film from the early 90's. It was not safe for kids under 15, and had some gross parts that I wish were cut out, but the funny scenes are irresistable as is the hot guy who plays "Mickey".

View From the Top. It had many famous actors that starred in it, but it came out right after September 11 and I guess America wasn't ready for a funny airplane movie because it flopped, but I love it!

I got two: The City of Lost Children a foreign film by the guy who did Amelie (different, bizarre and a lot of fun). My other one is Eyes of Fire; this is a ghost story happening in colonial times. The special effects are pretty bad but the plot and the acting are really good.

I like this series of strange "made-by-a-high-student-on-hotpot" like movies, it was on sky movies for a little while, it may have been called tube tales or tales of the tube etc... BTW i LUrvve "children of men" its the best film i've ever seen... its out in the uk now!
