I have a three hour internship/Job shadow at an advertising firm near where I live for school. They do advertisments for american eagle, burton, and others. They said that the dress in the office is casual but I should dress hip. Any suggestions? Is tweed still in?

Well dress to impress is always best. If you will be going weekly you can dress up more the first few times until you can feel out the atmosphere. Better to dress up more in a situation like this rather than dressing down.

Wear some slacks or skirt, a top and a cute jacket. Tweed is a great fabrication for fall.

Good luck!

I absolutley adore tweed. A tweed jacket with a nice pair of pants I'd shy away from jeans for an interview but if you do decide to go with jeans make sure they are nice. Then finish off the outfit with some really cute heels and you'll be good Good luck!!

I'd go with business casual - khaki or black pants and nice blouses or sweaters. Real shoes and not tennies or flip flops.

Yes, they say casual, but you're in a business setting and don't want to look like someone from high school.

Go by American Eagle and check out what the displays have up and what the associates are wearing, use that as a guide as to what you can wear from your own wardrobe.

I would suggest a nice pair of jeans and a button-down shirt. Its casual, but you will still look nice and stylish at the same time.
