Have you originally had a conversation, thinking that the other person was alright until they started showing annoying habits or mannerisms? What little things drive you crazy?

For me, I'd say:

*Mouth-Breathing (especially combined w/ bad breath)

*Staring too intently

*Overdoing the "yeah"s and "uh huh"s while I'm talking

*Interrupting me mid-sentence and then the person and I have to practically coerce each other to finish what they were saying.

*Too much creepy smiling and nervous laughter

*Talking too loudly or clearing their throat too much

*Being too eager to become my friend

*Swearing excessively, I mean, I don't even know them.

Yes, I'm bored. So post what little things will prevent you from initializing another conversation with somebody you're around a lot.

For those who are going to say "I don't judge people" and stuff - seriously, be human. You don't need to be PC over this little topic.

I hate when people ask me more and more detailed questions about my job ....such as how much I make. When did that become acceptable?

*I don't like it when people I hardly know, tell me way too much personal information. I avoid people like that, it is uncomfortable.
*I also don't like to talk to people who are always bad-mouthing other people,
*or people who are always negative.
*Also it is hard to talk to people who only like to talk about themselves.
