you're gonna tell me that we don't have needy orphans here in America? I feel terrible about needy children in the entire world, but does it seem to you that to some celebrities they are just seeking publicity?

Doesn't really matter... in the end, they're still giving a child a home and possibly inspiring others to do the same.
Besides, tv and magazines are going to publicize their affairs no matter what they do- the bad is just as publicized as the good- so it doesn't mean these celebrities sought it out, nor does it mean they made a life long commitment of money and time raising a child for a moment of popularity.

some do some don't they just want to ease the burden in that particular country they go to, but they do give money to loads of other charities etc it's up to them if we could afford it i bet we would to as we hear more about third world suffering then we hear about our own poverty stricken countries.

I don't know how much they need, but I do know that you just gave them more.
