what should i do? should i rest my voice or what? it isn't super-sore, but i'm just wondering? i talked alot today, so i don't want my bandmates to think im being lazy. i'm the vocalist.

If it's just practice, you should probably rest. But if it's important, drink lots of water. Warm water is really good on sore throats. Sometimes even just cough drops help coat your throat and help it heal. And it might be too late now, but whenever you think you're getting sick (esp. when concerts are coming up) try Airborne. It doesn't taste very good, but it works! (It boosts your immune system.)

I'm a singer too. Drink a cup of tea with honey in it, it will coat your throat and help you get through rehearsal.

try an old remedy...hot tea with honey and lemon. Or you could try gargling with salt water.
