What a Stupid freaking question, Then Two Pastors and Two Gay Politicians debated it for about 20 minutes.

I think americans need to stop blaming Groups of people, for one or even many actions of Individuals, This doens't just extend to Gay People, all races, all age groups. I just couldn't belive what I was seeing last night?

I, for one, would like to see them try. The political backlash would probably render them unelectable. Remember back in '94 when Gingrich was pushing the "Contract with America"? The Republican party was using the Bill of Rights of the Confederacy, with the single exception of the right to own slaves, as their party platform. It gave the Democrats control of both Congress and the Senate, and was then dropped completely, many Republicans now deny it ever existed. What many people keep ignoring is that politicians don't have to appeal to the majority of our populace, only to the majority of those who vote. The Religious Reich wields disproportionate influence because liberals tend not to make their views heard in the only place that counts, the voting booth.

traditionally, most republicans are religion-based conservatives. however, i know a straight couple who are republicans and don't care about sexuality. most do though. gay republicans are rare. in my opinion, they are the brave ones because they know how to separate their personal agendas from politics. even though i am a democrat, i have great respect for republicans who aren't biased against gays. especially those who don't have a religious agenda. i also respect religious people, even though i am not religious. the only part of the government that can discriminate against gays is the military. they have done so. a few weeks ago, a group of openly gay people protested at a recruiting station because after they revealed their sexuality to the recruiter, they were turned away. it is military policy.

There are gay people in the republican party and Conservative movement. That is nonsense that we do not allow them in. Larry King is a far left liberal and promotes this nonsense. There are plenty of gay republicans and gay Conservative who do not have the same agenda as the gay left does.

I don't think Gay people should be allowed to do anything like that or anything even close to that. Gay people should get a hold of themselves and look at what they are doing. I mean women are marrying women and men are marrying men. That just isn't right. It also sets a very bad example for kids. It spoils them and makes them talk about very bad things.
