If you're talking about the US, it's become quite partisan and nasty. There's some information on the parties websites that discusses their plans and agendas; you may want to look at these to see some of the things they stand for -- don't take anybody's word from Y Answers!

Politics are an ugly and dirty game. Most of the people who enter politics are self-serving and could care less about the average citizen. Take a look around your own community. Do you see your representatives hard at work to make things better? Doubtful. This extends to the highest office in the land where our president has no clue about how real people are struggling each and every day.

The scary thing about your question is that you were in the politics section and you still spelled it wrong. Before you worry about choosing a political party I would take some classes in spelling so people will take you seriously.

The practice of politics in America destroyed democracy and any hopes we ever had of applying it to our government. Individual politicians have done good from time to time, but politics is the civil divider that will aid our destruction in the times to come.

Politics is an offspring of the old world religions and, in my view, both of these organized entities are the worst curse/imprecation bestowed upon humanity by God.

Politics like the media deal with the masses. It's not one on one communication, it's one to a community, which has different interests among themselves. So what ends up happening, the truth becomes distorted to please the masses and we end up with half truths, three-quarter truths, or just lies. It's the only way they could communicate to the masses and try to please everyone.

Politics is mostly lies and all you can do about it is pick the lesser of two evils, unless people actually want to start doing something about it. LOL
